New Inventory Platform Sell/Transfer How To

sell transfer

Sell/Transfer

Selling or transferring of inventory occurs between an account that is selling, transferring or donating a quantity of an inventory units to an account that is acquiring that inventory. This function is used to describe a transaction that reduces the inventory of one account and increases the inventory of another.

A Sell/ Transfer transaction is initiated by an account owner and completes automatically if the buyer or acquiring account exists.

  • If the buyer does not have an RSG account, they receive an e-mail containing both an invitation to create a user profile and storage account and a code they can use to claim the inventory they acquired once their account is created.

  • Until the code is used to claim the inventory, the inventory remains ‘owned’ by but not ‘available’ to the selling/ transfer account.

  • A pending transaction reduces Available inventory quantity for the original owner of the units.

Please reach out with any questions to your Account Representative or a member of the Genetics Team.

Debbie Stevenson

Stanton Warren and Debbie Stevenson join RSG Team

RSG would like to welcome two new team members to the family! Stanton Warren began his interest in the small ruminant industry with the purchase of his first goat at the age of five – an unregistered Nubian doe by the name of Sugar Top. His passion for goats was fueled by his family’s “jack-potting” at dairy goat shows across the country in the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s – way before showing goats was “cool”.

Prior to joining the team at RSG, Stanton worked for over 27 years for Trans Ova Genetics in Chillicothe, MO. Stanton is very excited to begin his new career with RSG working remotely from the beautiful green hills of north central Missouri.

Debbie Stevenson originates from Greenville, South Carolina. She relocated to Indiana to attend Purdue University and has resided here ever since. While at Purdue, she obtained degrees in Animal Science and Veterinary Technology. Her career began at the Purdue Veterinary Teaching Hospital as part of the farm animal field services team. She has continued to be heavily involved in agriculture and has a particular interest in bovine reproduction.

Debbie resides in SE Tippecanoe County and has 5 boys. Their hobbies include 4-H and music.

We are glad to have both Stanton and Debbie at RSG!
