Description

Folltropin® is a veterinarian prescribed medication 

• The product is a follicle stimulating hormone (FSH)
• The hormone induces super-ovulation in reproductively

Contents

• One 20 ml vial containing 700 IU FSH as lyophilized powder 
• One 20 ml diluent vial containing Bacteriostatic Sodium Chloride 

Storage, Dosage and Administration

• • Do not store the freeze-dried power and diluent vials above 77°F
  • Store reconstituted solution under refrigeration between 36-46°F
  • Shelf life following reconstitution according to directions: 4 days 
  • Once mixed, the solution should be administered
  • Do not freeze after reconstitution and discard any unused portion
  • Injection of Folltropin® into donors is very critical. Use 20ga 1.5” needles only and inject into the deep muscle tissue of the back leg (hamstring) or rump (gluteal) altering sides in for the AM and PM shots. Use Lure Lock 3ml Syringes for best results. Injections into subcutaneous tissue will not be effective.
  • Follow the prescribed protocol instructions from Reproduction Specialty Group, Inc. for appropriate dosage and administration schedule that is based on your specific protocol

Precautions

• Contact RSG if prescribed protocol dosage and timing is missed
• Administration of Folltropin® is short-acting and for short-term use as directed

Warning: Care should be taken when handling the product to avoid accidental self-injection. Accidental self-injection may cause biological effects in women and, if pregnant, to the unborn child. In the event of accidental self-injection seek medical attention immediately by consulting a physician / health professional, particularly in women who are pregnant or whose pregnancy status is unknown.
