Shipping & Pick-Up Reminder

All semen and embryo shipping and pick up requests must be submitted through the RSG Genetic Inventory Management Platform. Simply navigate to the Inventory tab and select the Withdraw button to submit your request.

Please remember:

  • UPS and FedEx do not reimburse for shipping delays.
  • RSG is not responsible for the cost of replacement units when a shipment is delayed by the carrier for any reason.
  • Shipping insurance only covers loss or damage and must be purchased when the shipment request is submitted.

PLEASE PLAN AHEAD!

We recommend submitting shipping requests approximately 2 weeks in advance and pick up requests at least 48 business hours before your desired pick up date.

Fall Tip: Adjust Nutrition as Pastures Change

As we transition into fall, pasture quality may begin to decline, making supplemental nutrition important for maintaining body condition and supporting your flock or herd.

This is also a good time to evaluate where your animals are in their breeding season. RSG Repro Booster is designed for reproductive periods and is recommended 60–90 days before breeding through 30 days after breeding.

Once animals move beyond that window, consider transitioning to RSG Sustainer, a maintenance supplement designed to help sheep and goats maintain body condition and provide additional nutrients when pasture and feedstuffs are limited.

Evaluate your pasture, body condition, and breeding timeline to determine which RSG supplement best fits your animals’ needs this fall.

RSG Expanding Global Opportunities in Southern Africa

Last month, RSG Chief Strategy Officer Doug Edge traveled throughout Southern Africa as part of a U.S. Livestock Genetics Export, Inc. (USLGE) Roadshow regional market assessment in Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Namibia. Joining Doug on the trip was Caleb Boardman, Executive Director of the American Boer Goat Association (ABGA), bringing additional insight and representation from the U.S. meat goat industry.

The visit provided opportunities to meet directly with policymakers, livestock producers, importers, industry leaders, and local partners to explore the potential for U.S. livestock genetics and advanced reproductive technologies across the region.

Discussions focused on genetic improvement, market access, livestock productivity, and the development of long-term partnerships that can connect U.S. livestock breeders with growing international markets.

RSG is proud to be actively involved in these efforts as a member of USLGE as we continue expanding our international genetics import and export programs and creating new opportunities for U.S. livestock producers and breeders.
