RSG Foundation Supports Freedom Farms Livestock Show Team

Freedom Farms logo

RSG Foundation supports the Freedom Farms Livestock Show Team in West Virginia.

Freedom Farms Regeneration mentors and trains at-risk youth in spiritual, physical, and social development so that they can learn life skills and successfully transition into adulthood. Its mission is to glorify God by feeding the hungry and helping those in trouble, while ensuring that at-risk youth are not left behind.

The RSG Foundation is supporting their sheep breeding efforts by providing a Youth Genetics Grant and providing supplies for their LAI day.

We would like to thank Hild Brothers Show Stock and Burch Livestock, LLC – Kolby, Micky & Miles Burch for donating additional semen to this program.

Dr. Comyn and Virginia Herd Health Management Systems donated their time to perform the LAI procedures.

The Show Team exhibits their animals at jackpot shows and the West Virginia State Fair.

Cut CIDR tips

We recommend cutting the ball tip off of your CIDR pull line before inserting it into a sheep or goat. This will help reduce the amount of lost CIDR’s during synchronization. Leaving the ball provides risk of other animals grabbing and pulling it out with their teeth.

Important Reminders

When scheduling to pick up recips or donors, we require a 48 hour notice and your premise ID.

Payments for all breeding services are due at time of service. Please do not leave a host site or RSG facility without making a payment.

To access your Genetics Inventory account, you must provide a credit card or ACH information to cover the monthly storage billing amount.

We ship frozen genetics on Monday’s, Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s only to avoid shippers sitting over the weekends.
