Jagger tops sheep semen sale!

RSG’s Cyber Monday Semen Sale helped generate over $108,000 of revenue for our catalog breeders this year. Thanks to the great discounts that were offered, many sires sold a high volume of units, with Jagger topping the sheep sale and Manifesto topping the goat sale.

We will have our 2026 Sire Catalog listing options out soon! We will once again be offering the largest print and online opportunity to market sheep and goat semen nationwide.

Big year for the IVF programs at RSG!

2025 has been a big year for the IVF programs at RSG! Between our Indiana and Texas locations, we have hosted many successful program dates, catering to both sheep and goats.

Our goat donors are averaging about 4.0 embryos per LOPU. Our sheep donors are averaging about 3.0 embryos per LOPU.

In total, we have transferred and frozen 1105 total embryos through the IVF programs!

RSG Foundation to hold YEAR END SEMEN SALE

The RSG Foundation will hold our annual Year End Semen Sale on Willoughby Online Sales.

This sale features sires from our Gene Bank Catalog, along with some newer sires that have been donated by breeders to the Foundation.

Your support of the sale helps us raise funds for youth education, grants, thought leadership programs, and other initiatives to support the sustainability of the small ruminant industry.

Ryan King Moves to Client Services Role

Ryan will be based at our Indiana location and serving clients that haul-in to our Lebanon Breeding Center. Ryan previously served on our Breeding Services team and helped manage our College Internship program.

Make room in your storage account or semen tank by donating to the RSG Foundation!

It’s easy… just log into the RSG Genetics Inventory Management Platform www.RSGinventory.com.

The foundation will provide you a receipt of your donation.  If you itemize deductions on your federal tax return, you may be entitled to claim a charitable deduction for your RSG Foundation donations. By law, a charity cannot tell you what your donated items are worth. This is something you must do yourself. To assess “fair market value” for your donations: Consult a local tax advisor who should be familiar with your situation.

Follow these instructions:

  1. Select the animal you wish to donate semen or embryos from.
  2. Then select the Sell/ Transfer button.
  3. Select the animal record check box and enter the amount of units you wish to donate.
  4. Under Buyer email enter: doug.edge@rsgfoundationinc.org
  5. Under Sell Type select from the drop down menu “Donate”
  6. In the Notes section put what you believe is the fair market value for the unit(s) being donated. RSG Foundation will provide a letter acknowledging your donation.
  7. Click green Submit button
  8. On the next screen under Account Name select: RSG Foundation Inc.
  9. Click green Submit button again
  10. Transfer is complete
