We are sad to announce the passing of the legendary The Big Chill. Over the past 5+ years he has solidified himself as one of the premier rams in the industry. If you saw him in person you’ll likely agree, he could set a new Hampshire breed standard. He is the kind that never goes out of style. The Big Chill has sired winning wethers and stud rams all over the country – however, his greatest gift might be his females. No surprise almost all of our new stud rams over the past 2-3 years are all out of his daughters. They will have style, structure, and the muscle to compete on the biggest stage. For 3 years in a row (2019-2021) he sired the Supreme or Reserve Supreme Champion Ewe at the Indiana State Fair and the ewe in ’19 went on to win Louisville. We are building our flock around The Big Chill, sort some for him – you will not regret it.
