Minimum Health Standards

1. 60 days before the breeding procedure(s)

        a. Trim feet and eliminate all foot rot and foot scald

        b. Vaccinate booster CD&T

        c. Deworming or topical anthelmintic treatment

2. General management

        a. Shearing of ewes between April 1st and May 20th

3. Approximate body condition score of 3/5

These health standards are designed to best prepare the Ewe(s) and Doe(s) for the LAI, embryo transfer and IVF services as well as exposure to new environmental pathogens. RSG reserves the right to reject animals that do not meet RSG’s health standards, and such rejection shall be at Client’s expense.
