Sheep Gestation
The gestation period of sheep is between 142 to 152 days, but 147 days is used as the average to calculate the lambing date. The lambing date is the due date of the baby lambs. Ewes can give birth to 1-3 lambs in a single pregnancy.
Goat Gestation
Gestation length in goats is 145–155 days (average 150 days) and can be affected by breed, weight, environment, and parity. Generally, first-kidding does have one or two kids, and in subsequent kiddings, triplets and quadruplets are not uncommon.
